London Nightlife

So now that we are coming to the end of February we have once again said goodbye to our new years resolutions of drinking less, spending less and that ever-popular one of getting back into the gym.  Why people still try setting themselves these targets each year and quitting after the first two months will baffle me until the end of time!

Many of us find that the February pay check is the one we most look forward to.  After two months in hibernation after the Christmas attack on all of our bank accounts, we find ourselves back in the black and ready to head out into central London to do what we all know we do best… drink, party, gamble and more drink.

If like myself you are a one for the casinos, then this influx of cash that doesn’t need to go back onto your credit card is much appreciated. We do all love being in the comfort of our own houses playing roulette on online casino sites, like slotsheaven. Click here, try and see what it’s like before you’re going to spend money on a real casino.

We all know the go to casinos in the city, the Hippodrome and Empire in Leicester Square but if you’re looking for that James Bond feel and hope to win big before starting the night then why not check out one of these six casinos: The Ritz Club, The Clermont, Les Ambassadeurs, Crown Aspinalls, Crockfords and Maxims; all are historic and inspiring sites to any casino enthusiast.

If casinos aren’t necessarily the way you would start your night then why not head over to one of my personal favourites, Shaka Zulu in Camden for some incredible South African cuisine. To anyone who heads here I do advise you try the Ostrich steak and then one of the smoky South African whiskeys to wash it down with. Once you are full to the brim, the restaurant turns into a club which showcases some extravagant shows whilst you party on down on the dance floor and you also have the option to pop up to Gilgamesh if you’re looking to listen to some RnB classics. Don’t forget to try one of the numerous cocktails they have to offer here!

If you’re not looking for a casino or for a club then why night have a civilised night at the Duck and Waffle? This amazing restaurant sits on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower, right next to Liverpool Street station and offers the most spectacular views whilst you tuck into some of London’s finest dishes. My personal favourite on the menu is the Duck and Waffle! This is the restaurants signature dish and is one that I have enjoyed on many occasions. Make sure you order it too and don’t forget to get some awesome selfies with the whole of London just through the window behind you or the Shard just over your shoulder!

Wherever you are or whatever you get up to in Central London you are bound for a great night! This city is one that captures your soul and imagination and is a place that I have called home for three years between my trips around the world.
