The Masai Mara, Kenya

Hot air balloons, Africa’s big five (Leopard, Lion, Elephant, Rhinoceros and African Buffalo) and breath taking views, these are only a number of things that the Masai Mara can offer any keen traveller or holiday maker. During Kenya’s dry season, between July and October, the wildlife of Masai Mara migrate and you can see all of this and more by jumping into one of the hot air balloons on offer. Pyramids of Giza, Egypt

The pyramids in Giza are one of the most iconic images when anyone thinks of Egypt. This amazing piece of man made architectural development can be found just outside of Cairo and although they were built over 5000 years ago, they are the last survivors of the Seven Wonders of the World. In addition to this, on your travels around the pyramids, you may bump into a renowned piece of architecture, the Sphinx.

Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Mount Kilimanjaro… the world’s tallest freestanding mountain. It’s highest peak stands at nearly 20,000ft high and is a treat for anyone who loves a good old hike or wants a challenge. Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the most well known mountains and offers beautiful views and a great challenge for everyone, even the fittest of people. It is said that it can take up to 6 days to complete a hike around this colossal mountain.

The number of mountain gorillas seems to be declining rapidly year by year, so heading to the Virunga Mountains is a must, just to catch these incredible creatures in their natural habitat while you can. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls can be located in Southern Africa and measures up to be around a mile wide and over 300 feet high, but even someone with the greatest fear of heights cant not love this astonishing location and the fun of being soaked through to the bone by its spray, which can reach over 1000 feet in the sky and can be seen from 30 miles away!
